The 2024 Friends of Solvay Library Book Sale will, once again, be in October!
Friday, October 18 from 5 pm to 8 pm
Saturday, October 19 from 9 am to 5 pm
Sunday, October 20 from 10 am to 3 pm

Every year, the Friends of Solvay Public Library hold their annual Books Sale at the Solvay Fire Department. They collect books, DVDs, and CDs in the weeks prior to the sale at Solvay Public Library to then be sold at extremely low prices; hardcover books for $1, paperback and kid’s books for $.50 and dvds, videos and CD’s for $1.00. The Friends also ask volunteers to bake different baked goods to sell as well, with sign-ups being available at the library. All proceeds go directly to Solvay Library for new books, programs, and different items in importance to the library.
The Friends always welcome volunteers to help set up, work, and clean up this annual event. For more information, call the library at (315) 468-2441.
But, don’t worry, the Friends do have an ongoing Book Fundraiser everyday at Solvay Public Library! Friends of Solvay Public Library Tote Bags are on sale for $5 a piece or you can fill up a tote with books of the Fundraiser cart for just $5.
