We are proud to host a few of the amazing local authors and artists form CNY at Solvay Library! Here are the upcoming author talks we will be having this year:
Judith LaManna, ESQ. – Sunday, June 7th at 2 p.m. – Author, arbitrator, mediator and long time Friend of Solvay Library Judith LaManna will be here discussing and reading from her new book, Begotten. “Beneath the calm surface of Dyne, NY, lies a dark history of corruption, abuse, and buried evil.” Come and hear about this new book! Do not forget to bring your copies of Solvay or State Fair stories for her to sign! Light refreshments will be served.
Dr. Mary Jumbelic – Wednesday, June 24th at 6 p.m. – Mary Jumbelic visits Solvay Public Library for a book reading and signing featuring her second book Speak Her Name (2025). Come with questions ready, as Mary will also host a Q&A of her experiences. Mary’s first award-winning book Here, Where Death Delights (2023) is a memoir sharing her work-life balance and experiences as she navigates the world of forensic science, autopsies and mass graves while being a woman, mother and spouse.
Nathan Yehle – Saturday, September 12 at 1 p.m. – Nathan Yehle will talk about his writing journey, read some of his book, “Finding Inertia”, and sign copies. Light Refreshments served.
