Vera House – is a comprehensive domestic
and sexual violence service agency serving the Syracuse area.  They provide
shelter, advocacy, and counseling services for women, children and men. 
Vera House provides prevention programs and community coordination.

New York State Office for the Prevention of Domestic Violence  Includes the Domestic and Sexual Violence hotline, links to others related organizations, publications, information about the justice system, and more.

Child Protective Services in Onondaga County’s Department of Social Services – assists custodial parents and their children to locate absent parents, establish paternity, obtain support for their children, and enforce the terms of the Family Court / Supreme Court
orders of support.

New York State Sex Offender Registry – protect your children by knowing who your neighbors are.


Rape, Abuse, and Incest National Network (RAINN)
– is the nation’s largest anti-sexual assault organization. RAINN operates the National Sexual Assault Hotline at 1.800.656.HOPE and the National Sexual Assault Online Hotline at rainn.org, and publicizes the hotline’s free, confidential services; educates the public about sexual assault; and leads national efforts to prevent sexual assault, improve services to victims and ensure that rapists are brought to justice.
