Dan the Snakeman will be returning to Solvay Library and bringing some of his unique collection of reptiles, amphibians, and invertebrates!

Dan’s shows were created to educate people of all ages about reptiles, helping the audience better understand and appreciate the special nature of these animals and their importance to the environment. His program offers a unique opportunity to experience many species of exotic reptiles. The audience is invited to interact with the animals on an up-close and personal level; viewing, touching, and asking questions are highly encouraged.

There’s so much to explore at the library! Today we’re having a great summer library adventure challenge with a Library Scavenger Hunt. Stop by the library’s circulation desk and pick up a list of clues. Explore the library to find the items and win a special prize for completing the scavenger hunt challenge.

The Library Scavenger Hunt is free and open to all children ages 5-17.
