T’ai Chi is a low impact type of exercise in which slow, gentle movements are coordinated with breathing.  The meditative nature of T’ai Chi exercise is calming and relaxing and has been shown to benefit the cardio vascular system, strength, flexibility and balance.


Learn simple steps you can replicate on your own or in a group.  Please wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing and footwear your can easily slip off, if needed.


The Solvay-Geddes Historical Society will be starting up their monthly meetings on Monday, March  28th at 6:00 p.m. in the Community Room. These meetings are free and open to the public, so come and learn about different and interesting local history!

This month will have guest speaker Joyce Mills with a presentation entitled A Tisket, A Tasket, A Liverpool Basket, all about the basket making industry in Liverpool!

In honor of Good Friday, Solvay Public Library will be CLOSING EARLY on FRIDAY, MARCH 25TH at 3:00 P.M. The library will be CLOSED on SUNDAY, MARCH 27th for EASTER. Thank you and have a wonderful holiday.

Annual Easter Egg Hunt and Party

Saturday, March 26th

1:00 p.m.

Join us for our annual Easter Party and Easter Egg Hunt. Children from ages 3 to 8 can come and hunt for eggs, enjoy a craft, music, snacks and other fun!  Children must be accompanied by an adult and should bring a basket or a bag to collect eggs in.  Free and open to the public.

Space is limited and registration is required

YOU MUST PRE-REGISTER!   Limited to 30 children.  Registration begins March 12.

Kids and parents are invited to a pajama and reading party….and yes, you can wear your pajamas!

Join us for games, crafts, a snack and a funny story as local author Mylisa Larsen reads her new book ‘How to Put Your Parents to Bed’.

For ages 3-7. Registration is Required.
