Thank you to our volunteers and staff that made our Lifesize Candyland game a success. Over 40 children registered for the program. Children were awarded a piece of candy when they passed each Candyland costumed character. The children also came in costume!

Programs like this are made possible with donations from the Friends of Solvay Public Library. Please support them with membership and purchase of their holiday basket raffle tickets!

We continue to have fun every Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. with a variety of after-school programs! Every Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. we host a free movie in the library, as well.

TumbleBooks are animated, talking picture books which teach kids the joy of reading in a format they’ll love. They are created by taking existing picture books, adding animation, sounds, music and narration to produce an electronic picture book (and some classics) which you can read, or have read to you.

You can choose from chapter books, picture books, non-English language books, and even some games & puzzles.

OCPL provides unlimited use of TumbleBooks at no charge. You do not need to have a library card to view them.
